Modern Computational Science - Summer School

Modern Computational Science 2012 (August 20-31, Oldenburg, Germany)

Since 2009 the International Summer Schools on Modern Computational Science have become a regular event at the University of Oldenburg. The Schools are usually aimed at students from Master level onwards (including PhD students) who wish to learn more about recent developments in Computational Science and the use of High-Performance Computing resources. Lectures on the theoretical background on current hot topics from different areas of science are complemented by hands-on computer lab sessions for an effective learning experience. Of course, there is also time set aside for sight-seeing in Oldenburg and the Northwestern region of Germany.
